A day of activities~~!!

So~~~ I am now takin a break from my work and blogging for the first time on a desktop *laughs* I've not blogged on a desktop for a real long time already.

Today is all about an update on saturday~~ I had an awesome fun day, catching up with all the old friends... by old, i mean friends who have known me for a VERY VERY long time..not their age. *laughs*

So, upon whim, I met up with Derek. I'll talk more about him later, but we met up to catch the Soul Calibur V competition that was going on at Cathay Cineleisure. Really glad that he went with me, so my journey there wasnt really boring.

Caught up with Panther and found my royal hamster,Akabane. Had a great time talking to Panther as usual, cos he is jus full of kiam pa epicness. Seriously, when talking to Panther, sometimes you will feel like beating him up but yet he is so funny and right.

ON TO THE REAL SUBJECT. MY ROYAL HAMSTER.
I left the competition early and did not catch him in action because I had another event to attend. He called me around 9pm, and I was like... uhhhh whats up?

HE WON THE COMPETITION [newbie division]!!!

SO FREAKING HAPPY FOR HIM, CAN?

Here comes the reason as to why Derek was with me besides being interested in my activities.... because I was interested in his *laughs*

I was surfing the web one day and realise that Jin [cookieologic.blogspot.com] was heading to the rink and I saw derek's name in the list so I decided to ask him if he was going, just for the heck of it cos I know I wont go.

After that he asked me along, I was like... if i go.. I will get smacked by Jin because everytime she asks me I'll make up some excuse or complain that it is too far *laughs*
A while later, I realise I wanted to attend Raina's debut that I even recorded in my phone... so I asked Derek, and he said he din mind attending either... soo yeaaaaa thats pretty much how I ended up hangin out with him, and he used to play soul calibur too HAHAHA

For those who have never seen his name here before, here is the reason why. It is a rather long history I had with him. I knew him ever since I was in secondary school through my elder cousin, Wilson. I met him at the JurongEast rink.. if anyone know the JE ice-rink, you would know how long that has been, prolly around 6 years already. We hardly talked back then, but in memories jolted back at the Kallang-rink, we did had our share of fun at the JE rink before. *laughs* Of course, he couldnt keep track but I remembered the feeling of being pulled around the JE rink by him.

To be honest, I know I was pulled by someone before but I couldnt remember who until Jin asked him to pull us around on Saturday *laughs* seriously, i feel so guilty because I've mis-remembered or forgotten so much about him that it is legit for him to strangle me alive.

So as expected... He sabo-ed me and asked me to go into the rink first while he put away the stuff... and i got poked and mauled by Jin. HAHAHAHA but it was all worth it. I havent been in the rink with this girl for a very very long time.

Of course, I am looking forward to JE's rink reopening in april. This time, there will be no excuses for me not to go down and skate... well, cept for no money, but I am sure if i do a proper finance control, I will be able to enjoy skating with the peeps again. I sure do miss the days when me and my cousins go down every other week to skate for the whole entire day.

I would say that this brow pencils are for filling in the ends of the brows only. The lead is very hard, and the colour only comes out better when drawn on a harder surface than your flesh [in head's case, the brow ends area]

tried it out on my hand, the colour is nice but like i say, it doesnt come out well on soft flesh ^A^ll resulted in slight scratching

- Dollywink's colour is less harsh than Kate's.
- DW's does not finish off as shiny as Kate's
- Best of all? DW's doesnt have a weird smell as Kate's

Almost instantly, this little baby has travelled up as my fav in one shot even though I've been using Kate for quite a while now~

Ehm, next would be my job.

Today i've signed the contract for 6 months OTL. Pay's pretty good cept that because I am a contract stuff so... I have no leaves or mc... but I can take a holiday whenever I need to, just that it will not be paid.

My work so far has been quite braincell killing and I've learnt that the proofreaders in America are probably retarded... who name's a monster PIG BEAR MAN? SERIOUSLY? I dont know what is the standards to enter the company there man... but this is RIDICULOUS. ROFL.

For people who DO read chinese, feel free to start playing Moonlight Online which is a game by the company I am working under. I will be participating in translating moonlight online into an English Edition. Even though in the end, there is a chance my translation might not be used, no thanks to the america side, I am going to burn braincells at work anyway.

Moonlight online is rather similar to WorldOfWarcraft gameplay. When I went it, it screamed pirated WoW to me. However I do enjoy the leisure of it, because everything in there is pretty much automated [this means I do not have to get lost in a terrain]

Moonlight online is now in CHINESE VERSION only, we are working on the English one.
It is a FACEBOOK game, not a client game but I daresay... the graphics ARE pretty awesome. *laughs*

I am NOT convinced that I needed makeup because I was mistaken as a boy, it wasnt even written in the papers for gods sake. I needed makeup for cosplay.

These few days I've been also trying out the health supplements that Silver @ thatsilvergirl.blogspot.com passed me.

Admittedly, it hasnt done much because it is not miracle medicine but at least i know that my body is recieving care with the amount of vitamins there are in these packets. Seriously, i forgot the exact number but silver told me it was around 100++++ vitamins and such. Prolly A to Z.

The white one was really sour, SHE DID NOT WARN ME. She just went oh~no worries they are not bitter like all those health supplements. HELLO DEAR SILVER, YOU DID NOT TELL ME ONE WAS SOUR LIKE MAD. i can hear her chuckles now =A=;;; The one in coloured tasted like fruitpunch like she said, i liked it alot~

Weather made a huge turn, and my body went down with it. My old injuries did not spare me. Yesterday, I was practically trying to keep myself walking properly without buckling from the pain. Today, I went downstairs in the cold without any extra clothes and chatted with Aki for three hours... went home and concussed until 6pm... I woke up and checked what i texted and... i actually told twinneh to call me cocoonchii.. well i was wrapped up in blankie and all i guess.

Another huge news is i finally got a job!! This time, I want to focus on it and start saving for a trip/holiday. I am already going 22 this year, I want to be able to do something by myself.

[Fashion Feature]

This post is going to be something i've never done before and full of huge pictures so get ready for it.

Quite a while back then last year, I was invited to GLAMOUR INCORPORATED's showroom to view the SpringSummer Collection of 2012. While everybody is preparing to release AutumnWinter 2012, i m here writing up on useless fashion like this *laughs* However I just felt that I have left this series to collect on dust for too long, so I guess it is time to bring it out since I am pretty free now.

I went to the showroom with Kent-nii and Ellina

When we stepped into the showroom, we were greeted by TONS and TONS of clothes, not to mention a kind lady. I kind of forgotten her name since it has been such a long time, but I'll never forget that smile and the feeling of warmth that she greeted us with.

I am not one to mix around with western fashion as most of you might know, so the moment i stepped in, i was like Oh.Okay. The main reason I went is because I had the invite and I know Ellina would LOVE to go, and I sorta owe it to her at that time.

Man, was I wrong. Past the first room and up the stairs, my eyes widen and OH.MY.GOD.

Collection by KTZ was my thing, especially the shoes. If they were in my size, I would have totally sneak-tried them on *laughs*

This HAS to be my favourite pair of all. It is just so bold, with buckles and the deep red~

and matching bags too~

I probably spent about 10-20mins just gushing over the shoes, and I couldnt tear my eyes away from the shoes no matter what I was doing... okay, maybe when I was in the Swarovski section, but that is a story for another day.

Remember when cosmic patterns on nails are a hit? It was on clothes too~ along with jewellery and prints that you see on the scarves used for ModeGyaru.

I would love a pair of shorts in this design any day~

This set shares a common love from Kent-nii and me, we love the design AND the fabric used for it.

I heard from Ellina that these pieces are actually found at F21 or was it Topshop? Either ways, if you love these, you can try your luck there.

Here are some other interesting finds which I am not sure which designer it belongs to but it looks good. That counts.

Valentines are celebrated in different countries in many different ways. Since my blog is usually focused on Japan fashion and makeup, and I am a Singaporean, I will just talk about these two.

Singapore Style

Having seen so many valentine's day pass by in Singapore, it is a standard day. Guys get ripped off by girls... 10 TIMES MORE THAN USUAL. *laughs* I am serious. Say on a normal day, you receive a rose. On Valentine's, the girl will expect a huge bouquet accompanied with chocolates or bears. Who came up with this standard anyway? Commercial companies of course. Valentine's is a day to shower your lover/partner with more MATERIAL love than usual.

Usually in Singapore, girls are on the receiving end while guys ponder over what to get. On rare occasions, you will see guys getting gifts from their girls. Almost all couples will go on a date. A movie, a dinner or some dayout activities. Streets of Singapore are usually flooded with couples, a guy holding a girl and the girl holding on to some flora.

I have passed the streets on valentines once, and alone, and I always find myself thinking : "ah... it would be so nice to receive those pretty roses and have a charming partner" I can never stay beside flowers for too long because I have pollen allergies, I do have flowers sent to me every Valentines and not to mention on some normal days too, but I will never have enough time to appreciate them.

I'd say Singapore ladies are pretty lucky to have guys to pamper them, not only on this day but throughout the relationship. How about taking the initiative this time and follow the Japan style?

Personally, I celebrate valentines in Japan style which is kind of rare for Singapore so usually...95% of my feelings will not be reciprocated. *laughs* den again a lot of people might say that White Day is just for ripping-off.

Usually on Valentine's Day, women are the ones who gives out chocolates and confessed to their crushes. There are two types of chocolate that they give out, the Giri-choko and the Honmei-choko.
Giri-choko usually means gratitude/courtest chocolates given to bosses, colleagues and friends. Honmei-choko is the chocolate you give out to your true love.
Personally, I have given out both types of chocolates before, but I might try my hand at making chocolates next year. This year, I was just way too lazy even though the thought had been on my mind for awhile.

After Valentine's Day, comes White Day on 14March. This is the day where men are suppose to return the feelings of confession or follow the rule of sanbai gaeshi, which can be loosely translated to tripling the return. The common gifts of return are white chocolate, jewellery and ribbons. I know that it might be said differently, but these are the common gifts I see.

Even if a guy could not reciprocate the feelings of another, some of them might return the gifts as an obligatory move. White day was an "answer" day started by some confectionary company, and not official in terms of celebration but I still like the idea of it to be given a time to answer those feelings that were expressed for you.

This year, I am celebrating it as a single as usual but I have two giri-choko for my closest buips, Lawliet and Chiru. I would not be able to pass it to them on time but at least with such awesome technology, I will be able to send them some "proof" first *laughs*

Went on a visual shoot with Daisy from ヴィズアルエクス [VisualEx] yesterday!

I had a chance to shoot with terrix, daisy's visual photog, before he left for studies in Australia. I was practically dying to shoot with him because I love his photos!

To be really honest, I feel that I have sort of butchered the fringe while cutting it. Bad mistake. I must be very out of touch with wig styling...

On my way to daisy...TRISTY'S PLACE! I m used to calling him tristy.

I havent been to an amk house in nearly 2 years?
Then again, it wasnt really near. I never wanted to pass that stop again, too painful to.

I feel that i look really different from how i use to do visual, honestly speaking.

Did tristy's hair for him this time~~ He was rather impressed, i guess all the credits go to himura.K mommy for letting me learn when he was styling my hair all the time. It would be kind of awesome if we could pit our skills against each other, i feel that I have exceeded him because he is not active in outlook but more on his guitar now.

Met up with Noriaki-san @ Laselle first, as he gave me another 3 more slots and 2 slots for men to Tristy. It was really fun as we shot two of the shots in double. Tristy was my backdrop and I was Tristy's, cant wait for the shots to be out soon!

Bjorn came down after class to guide us for photoshoot places. It was pretty awesome to see him again. Teddy bjorn has grown abit more fluffed up but as nice as ever. I haven seen him in about almost 5 years? We used to be pretty close and I always travel to his house so often when i ponten-ed HAHAHA

Changed into my second outfit with a M*ARS inspired ribbon. I looked so girly.

Springgggg TAIKAI~!!!

Overall, it was an awesome event and I WOULD post more pictures of the three uncles but I kinda lost one of them that twinneh sent me. Will ask her for it some other day though.

Twinneh managed to get close to Gero and handed him my pack of goodies and letter, though I cant do it myself but I am glad that at the very least, gero got my stuff...or at least I saw him take it.
Special thanks to YQ for helping me translate my tweets and letter to him and giving me the brilliant idea of packing local goodies for him though ^^

Was really happy and felt lucky that Lawliet had tickets for BOTH of us [each ticket retails for SGD$60] because Darren gave it to her.
Listening to Gero's live performance was WAYYYYYYY better than his recording or his niconico live.

Gero kinda reminds me of YQ too and YQ has a powerful voice, so we were joking that YQ is probably the angmoh and much more serious version of Gero.

In real life, I've been approach quite a few times and even reading and telling during huge dinner gatherings. It might be generalization but horoscope has helped me quite abit in my life to understand and prevent myself from doing things that i WILL regret. It is like a small alarm bell.

So how did the name hororacle come about. It is pronounced as Ho-ro-cle. I know it isnt suppose to be but wouldnt it be a mouthful otherwise? *laughs*
I've always joked with a bunch of friends while telling them about their horoscopes, and I am always like CALL ME ORACLE. Since it is about horoscope, so I just came up with the name spontaneously.

A "rewrite" of the Report

Okay, not really a rewrite. Just to clarify a few points because I felt that it was important FOR ME. *virgo trait*
All that I have corrected would be something that i told him, the writer Shaun, but it just came out slightly misrepresented under his keyboard.
NONETHELESS, my parents and I agreed that it was a good report in overall, but i m a virgo. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

I dont spend an hour everyday. I spend approximately 30-45mins on makeup. UNLESS I am trying out a new style or watching animations while doing it. ROFL. Neither do i apply it EVERYDAY. I guess it is for the impact that it was written that way. I put on makeup roughly from none to 5 times a week. Not everyday people, skin needs to rest, and that is not just at night.

okay just a minor update on my napbas stuff.. its more den a month and the photos i editted are prolly 1/3 LOL will the post ever come out? I know i never really blogged about my 21st celebration either. *laughs*

So anyway, today will be on my trip to shoot @ SPH [Singapore Press Holdings] under the name of The New Paper.

This is a VERY late news because I am quite worried about the outcome of the report.

However lets go on about the day before I express my worries.

So on thurs, i arrive on time and it was rainy and all while I am still very sick[still sick now HAHAHAHA], and I met Shaun[the writer for the column] at the gates. He was quite a cheery guy and really easy to talk to~

Met the editor and the photographer too. The editor is an Englishman, forgot his name but he was a pretty agreeable guy and listens to ideas. The photographer, on the other hand, even though a nice guy, I was pretty much ticked off by him.

The studio. Just a simple setup, nothing fanciful.

The dressing room for me to do my makeup and change.

If you have been following my twitter, you would pretty much know what has happened on that day. I wont repeat myself, just that I was rather uncomfortable with the way the shoot was conducted.

Had to change into a T-shirt because the photographer thinks that my hoodie was in the way *rolls eyes* [/annoyed point 1]
In the end, I ended up lookin like a floating head in the picture because my shirt blends into the background too. Did a huge odango hairstyle cos I wanted a clean and neat style, but apparently i had to pull back ALL MY ALREADY NEATLY STYLED AND IRONED HAIR [/annoyed point 2]
Girls who have short fringe prolly knows the pain of pullin back your fringe for 1hour plus and after that fringe will stick out all over the place if you attempt to release it.

So i had to do half of the makeup on my face to show the difference of before and after makeup~ Which I did not take a picture of. I mean whats the point right? It is going to be slapped on the papers anyway *shrugs*

As you guys can see, I have alot of baby hair. So under the logic of common sense, it is INEVITABLE. My hair is already styled for the shoot, so WHO IN THE RIGHT MIND WILL BRING HAIRSTYLING PRODUCTS TO THE STUDIO? Apparently, the photographer expected me to be prepared for everything. No.
After that being said, he wanted to ask around to see who has gel or whatsoever to gel down my loose hair... NO. HELLO,MISTER? I HAVE ALREADY STYLED MY HAIR PROPERLY WHY COULDNT YOU TAKE IT AS IT IS? [/annoyed point 3]

He couldnt take pictures with my pretty metal clip used to hold my fringe, which in my sense is quite stylish for a DURING MAKEUP PICTURE. [/annoyed point 4 *redundant point but i love my clip /defensive*]

To be honest, all the so call loose strands/baby hair can be PHOTOSHOPPED, but the photographer obviously has either 1.no idea 2.lazy 3.too proud to use photoshop on his pictures. [/annoyed point 5]

So after changing, we had to take full body pictures. I am all like HEY~ I CAN DO THIS SHIT. Afterall, I've done photoshoots. BOY WAS I WRONG. He made me feel so noob that I did not have to heart to pose for him. Why? In all my glorious opinion, I think my hair was fine. *points at picture* but he kept on asking me to move my hair away[FROM WHERE TO FUCKING WHERE? i was pretty pissed off at this point already] and have like a gazillion unhappiness on my side hair. [/annoyed point 6]

you know what? F-beep- OFF. I have never felt so really after a shoot. There is only so much patience I have for a person that I just meet and he really pushes it. Out of so many photographers I have worked with for leisure or for work, I've never met someone like that before.

Okay, maybe I should let him off the hook because he is taking for the papers and there is some SOP he must adhere to probably. However I just felt that it was a fun column, everything should be taken in a much lighter heart. Even the makeup shots I see from CURE style council isnt that stiff. I am so NOT looking forward to seeing the pictures. I have a feeling I would look pretty much awkward and out of place.

On the lighter side of the story, I really had fun chatting with Shaun and laughed alot at the weird story reports that both the photographer and Shaun read out while I was doing my makeup. One compliment for the photographer is he really has skills. The picture looked pretty good on the camera even if I dont have makeup on, off camera is another story though.

Got to enjoy a little of what SPH's toilet has to offer. *loves classy toilets*

Pretty impressive for a workplace toilet, i'd say... Looks on par with a hotel's toilet to be honest.

Alot have been asking me what I am going to do for Valentines Day with it just around the corner. Honestly, I have no idea. My plans for this year is to probably stay at home and game the day away really.

Honestly, seeing mommy make valentines bouquet has made me abit moody about my single status. I guess the right one will come some day soon, but I am not too hung up about that since I am enjoying the freedom I have even though sometimes the lonely feeling really gets to you.

The bouquets will be on sale at my uncle's mini mart in WOODLANDS. I will post details in Facebook soon, so if anyone is interested you can head there to get it cause I can assure you that it is way cheaper than what you get in floral shops.

The movie was alright in my opinion... definitely a butt-hurting experience... its about 2.5hours? Cant recall but by the end of it, all of us were butt-sore and ready to get the hell out of the theatre and grab late dinner.

Maybe give the movie about 3.5/5 I guess.. It is still relatively funny with all the typical touching scenes that you can find in a Jack Neo production. Same few main actors, same story progression.

This was suppose to blogged on my phone due to me abusing the freedom my new 2 metres cable gave me while charging my phone but the blogger app fucked up anyway so i decided to reblog the whole thing on laptop because i forsee a sleepless night[if i dont wear out my brain by blogging] due to some personal problem.

Before I start on the main topic as usual, here is a few random topics~

On monday, I went out with Brandon to try out the Antoinette's because we were eyeing the pretty cakes and sweets on last wednesday night. I swear I will dead broke because this guy keeps dragging me out to have expensive but awesome sweet treats..

He couldnt tell the difference between the teas *laughs* and was so extremely doubtful of me when I switched the teas that the waiter served us. I ordered chamomile while he ordered some other fancy tea flavor. Of course i knew how chamomile smells like because I am ever-so-familiar with it due to my dependance on it during a period when I was too tensed and couldnt sleep.

Antoinette's was so fanciful that they couldnt even use a normal bill book... they had to use a heavy jewelled trinket case.

After that we went to a karaoke session with YQ, Lawliet twinneh, Invinc and some guy whom i did not catch the name. Simon joined us after his work too~~
YQ and I did a few MFLO numbers and we were like hey~ this shit works! If we can practice, we can even perform *laughs* oh yq~~ yes we can.*pats his head*

Twinneh was the troll of the day. She went around slotting in trolling songs like oldies, hokkien songs and the most epic song of all, My Humps by BlackEyePeas.
Me and twinneh did the fergie part while simon,brandon and Invinc did the guy part. We were all laughing like no tmr cos it sounded so damn good yet so damn funny. YQ did not join in cos he was going OH MAAM YOU CAN TOTALLY DO BIMBO NATURALLY. Yes, I can YQ. Must be britney influences since young 8D

Me and twinneh also did Love you by Cyndi Wang... SUPER OLD SONG and so damn epic cos of rap. Everyone was like homfg*facepalm* I still think twinneh is my best duet partner for lovesong duets so far...

Room cleaning story.

I do this every year but never seem to be able to finish cleaning so this year, I am using a different approach. THROW ALL THINGS OUT!!
I am going to throw alot of things out like memorial items that I do not need and kids toys and stuff... Gonna clear out most of my anime merchandises after CNY too.

Last issue of the day which i need suggestions about.

Dont get me wrong, it is not that i dislike tsu-chan or anything... In fact, i like her just not to point of idolizing. For those who dont know, I held a really great love for her wedding gown~ I recall saying it quite a while back though... but here is the vid for those who wanna see what her gown looks like. The lenght will be one of my gown choices for my wedding *laughs to self* A buip can dream right?

Anyway, back to the reason. The only reason is only because I've been facing her face for 7 days, 9 hours per day without any time-off day. She is still pretty but I am really going @_@.

From my prev post, I am you guys already know that I am working to promote Dollywink @ Watsons. I have been a fan of Mandom products since my VK times... mainly GATSBY, the only brand of hairdye that my hair accepts. I recently bought Lucidol.L 's new designing aqua curl lotion which, in my opinion, works better than liese's iron make even though i still like the ironmake series.

Dollywink no.1 - Honestly speaking, I do not like this set of lashes. It might be due to my eye shape or the fact that I suck at using this pair of lashes.. I really do not like the droopy effect and I destroyed the back section upon taking it out of the case #violentsochii... turns out that it worked well for me when it is shorter but very natural.
Dollywink no.6 - I loved this lashes ever since Dollywink's release. No questions there
Dollywink eyeshadow no.4 [Colourful Pop]- My fav palette out of all 4. The eyeshadow was pretty pigmented and smooth to apply. Downside would be that the dark eyecolours tend to flake pretty bad during application... doesnt help when its very pigmented LOL
Dollywink volume mascara[Singapore does not have the lenghtening mascara due to ingredient issues] - I dont like it. I can only use this mascara on my bottom lashes, because I tried to use it on the top lashes and it got really irritated for me until I remove the mascara.
★ LOVE caramel curled extensions[modelled by nanase kubo] - These extensions are real love for me because I can tidy them, it is LOW-HEAT RESISTANT not non-heat resist. Was pretty happy when I realised that~~ It blended so well with my hair that most customers thought it was real.

My eyes started getting kind of bad. I had to called for help.
Troubled quite alot of people especially Kent-nii... He had to go leave work and get me a pair of new lenses to save my eyes because my lenses tore.

I felt pretty bad during the evening when I had to shoot with Noriaki-san from Sgstreetangels too... He personally sent me a mail a few days back, inviting me for a second round of streetangels shoot because I was in the first one. This time we were shooting both day and time angels. I wasnt looking my best but I do hope I did well enough.

Pearly was also worried about me too~

At the end of work, caught up with Brandon [who BTW has been accompanying me for lunch,and when he isnt, YQ will be *laughs*], and we went to have dinner together~ We will be heading out for sweets @ Antoinette [Mandarin Gallery] soon because the cakes are so obscenely adorable, I swear. Whereever there is Brandon, I will always face cute yummy pastries. LOL.

After dinner, we met up with Lawli-twinneh who just ended work and have sweets at a nearby store that isnt closed at the sad timing...

Today I've learnt that no matter what we are doing, I can smile. It might not be alot to whoever, but within radius and within earshot. As long as the feeling is present, I can actually smile no matter what we are doing. Its just that simple. No complications, no fears, no uneasiness... Just fun,laughters and goofing around.

ANYWAY, how have all your new years been so far? Mine has been awesome... I realise I forgot to blog about new year resolutions... I've never set any resolutions because they always get broken in the end anyway... so I would set 2012GOALS!!!

Which is something amazing happened to me at one full shot today...Karma worked its magic on me like a wittle charm~~

So I was suppose to meet Pearly @ Pearly N Kelly at 10AM but I was late ANYWAY, AS USUAL.. for like 10mins I think... but she reached at around .05 so its probably a mini wait *laughs*
Just a few days back, I saw Kelly's post on looking for someone to work for Dollywink so being a super "kiasu" person, I immediately replied Kelly...like lightning fast and landed this assignment. YES I M DESPERATE FOR A JOB CAN? EVEN IF PARTTIME OKAY?

Back to the story, so we met up. Its the second time I saw Pearly in person, and there was only two of us... so we talked abit more and became closer YAY~ new friend!!

34. Threw up outside for the first time in 15 years. due to christmas drinking.
35. Had fun picking out clothes for sales and arranging them with mommy dearest. Best way to end 2011.

On top of the 35 pointers, I've recieved several gifts, well wishes and great new friends as well as current awesome ones. Not to mention the celebrations of one week for my 21st birthday...
It has been a blessing for me to be loved by someone, to have friends of so many, and to be appreciated and heard by all.

To say the truth, this year, my emotions has been dangling on a string extremely and so has my physical health. However I am already pulling myself up by that string. I have awesome people helping along even if I do not have a boyfriend, which of course I am still NOT looking for one.

For people who enjoy putting me down and insulting, I would say another good year ahead for you too. Without you all giving me the attention, I would be no one.

First of all, let me apologise for my lack of updates. My life after napbas is pretty described like that...

and HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HONEHBUN[Azhy/Azhrien/Lucan and all sorts of names]~~~~

When i m not in bed, i m working. When I am not working, I am bedridden from sickness.

Yesterday, I finished a bridal assignment and today I am sick as hell that I couldnt pick up another assignment from WhiteStudio. I wanted to go badly to earn some cash, but my body wouldnt allow me. My cough deteriorated and my throat is probably badly tarnish. I can only talk really softly or end up coughing after raising my voice to an audible level. Eating is also a problem, but then again, I dont have much of an appetite

That aside, due to all those above, I hardly did anything to the napbas picture lying around in my computer... I will try to get the post up as soon as possible.

Sooooo on christmas eve, I was suppose to go for the la barra di shitno thingy but the place just sucks. If you have been following my FB / Twitter, you would have known what happen. So we splitted the joint and went to Dango's house and had the most horrible red wine EVER. I ended getting really tipsy and threw up on the cab on the way home cos the cab driver was accelerating and decelerating really violently. You can just hear the engine raring all the way... it was a freaking jerky ride so all the alcohol came up *laughs* my first time throwing up after drinking outside of house.... or rather my first time throwing up after drinking... not to mention I was already sick.

Great experience though...

I used the remaining time to heal up and went for YQ's party during christmas evening, all dressed up like a hobo. Had fun there and hitched a ride home on taichou's~

Last but not least, I was really happy that I got to know Shintaro-niisan and Yuta-aniki. I swear they will become like my fairy godbrothers or something~ hahaha~~~

Why you might ask am i blogging about this? That is because I am inspired by two video which I will show you later and I am too bored so I decided to blog but I needed a topic because blogging senseless things demotivates me a huge lot unless it seems un-senseless to me. Get my point?

Honestly, Girls vs Guys has been an age old question. Google search and you will know what I mean. It has been a HUGE HUGE problem. Not only on girls and guys, but
also on horoscopes and bloodtypes too, which by the way I am very into.

However, I will show you the first video first.
This is a scene from hindi movie Pyaar Ka Punchnama (released on 2011) which I find very amusing and true... to a certain extend, because different girls from different racial backgrounds have different views and problems but there are a few common views in it.

I couldnt stop laughing the first time I watched it and then...I couldnt stop watching it. I've lost count of the times that I've actually viewed this and I find it really amusing.
Dont say I am siding all the males now in order to get them to notice me. Let me speak from both sides regarding every single topic from now*i lies*.

"Relationship means enter into it with your own happiness"
SO TRUE PLEASE, but it refers to both sides as well. As much as guys think they suffer, girls have their own pointless brainless sufferings as guys would deem it but girls refer it to important sacrifices anyway.

Its true! After that, all you care about is your partner's happiness, his/her birthday...and well... some of them, his/her pets' birthday. Even parents' and siblings'... *laughs* but HEY we all do that willingly so why complain? If you dont like it, there has got to be a problem because they will become your family one day and so will their pets.

"Batman issue"
Guys win: Really, girls do NOT know how to appreciate some things and will only learn to appreciate when it is gone. They will always demand for this demand for that.
Girls relent: We jus want you to be something that no one else has ever been. In short, we are making life really impossible for you but it is all for your own good as we always claim but we are right anyway.

"Hug issue"
We all know that everybody needs love and attention. How much is too much, how much is too little differs from person to person. It is not only gender. I've met guys who ask for too much and guys who want too little. I can never decided which is the right amount to give to them either, and neither do they know how much is okay for me. It all boils down to personal preferences.

"Shopping Issue"
Guys win: REALLY. FUCK LA GIRLS. remember the picture of the route of a guy and girl in a shopping mall? IT IS TRUE. On this issue, I have nothing to say because I really hate it when girls shop like that, and IT INCLUDES ME. I get abit frustrated with myself sometimes when I see a guy waiting for me while i shop too. Why cant you just get what you want and get the fuck out?

on the other hand, if leisure shopping is agreed upon beforehand with NO GOALS,NO AIMS,NO NEEDS, i'd say that the women shopping route is acceptable.

"Phone Issue"
Not only happens to guys, it happened to me too. Sickening shit so i know how it is like being hounded and I do feel guilty if i hound someone but that is only because I am a worrywart, but then again it is no excuse.

"Eating issue"
Guys win: This really irritates the shit out of me. If the girl wants to eat, eat. If the girl doesnt eat, LEAVE HER TO DIE. Honestly, I think all girls should stop using not eating as an excuse to get your guy's attention. I think its moronic, and why torture yourself? You are just making a nuisance of yourself.

"Work Issue"
Guys win: All we really want after work, is to rest and have our own private time. You are already occupying all our off-days, is it not fair to just ask for time off after work? DOES IT KILL YOU TO SHUT UP AND GET LOST?

Girls win: If you love me, you would make time no matter how tired you are.

"We never talk, we need to talk, I dont think its working anymore"
This sentence sends me into a sputter of laughters.
I use this sentence sometimes too.
Guys win: we talk all time, you need to shut up, it is only working if things are going your way.
Seriously, if you really think its not working, ask for a breakup. Why torture the guy? Plainly it is just asking for attention. I know because I use it for attention because that is the ONLY TIME guys who really love you will start talking to you and solving that shit on the spot.

"Any discussion with a woman is an argument"

"Guys' memory"
Girls, dont bother. They wont even remember what they have said to you 3 days ago much less what they did for you 5 months ago. We remember, they dont. As simple as that, the more you look into it, the more you ask.. all you will get is disappointment, frustration and you start on drama again and its war. Simply not worth it. If they dont remember, just say its okay and let it go.
Dont use what they forget as weapons in arguments really, its like kicking them in the balls. It hurts them and make them angry.

"Suddenly the whole argument will flush down the gutter and the topic will be 'How dare you point a finger at me?"
Guys will automatically lose when girls find them offending during an argument.
I recall my uncle and my aunt quarreling once...they were arguing and immediately my uncle lost when my aunt say:I DARE YOU TO RAISE YOUR VOICE AT ME ONE MORE TIME!
Personally, I really dont like it when someone raise their voice at me. If you are loud from the start till the end, I have no problems with it. If you raise your voice at me, you are dead meat. My heart/sensitivity just cannot handle the raise. Girls or guys, do it to me, and I'll make sure you will hear no end of it.
I DO RAISE MY VOICE. I DONT DENY, but that is up to you to shut me up.

"Friends complaining issue"
Honestly, I have no problems with this myself but i find it so true.
Almost 99% of the people I know do this. They complain to the partners' friends and get shot down for it bad, ESPECIALLY GUYS. Major poor things. Then again, girls are a whole lot of jealous bunch when in love.

Girls and guys are on a different wavelenght obviously. Girls need alot of time and attention but they need to be pampered too but that will require money and guys will need to work for that resulting in lack of time which leads to inability to be attentive however girls do not take that into account mostly because some of the girls have jobs too.

Sometimes I do feel the lack badly, but ignoring is the best way to avoid drama. He's happy, you can find other outlets. If you did mattered, he would call if he realise it. If not, it doesnt matter either, someoneelse will appreciate you much more than he did.

So all in all. The keyword here is COMPROMISE but then again some people are too stupid to understand and some people think they are smart enough to know what they are doing. That is another whole story.
No answers? That is the answer. You will never get an answer out of this and I've waste, probably, a good whole 2-5minutes of your time reading this gibberish. If I was such an expert on this, I wouldnt have so many failed relationships.
Fall in love , get hurt, move on... AND FALL IN LOVE AGAIN TO GET HURT TO MOVE ON AGAIN. I will never learn because I am looking for that one perfect guy even though I know he doesnt exist and it is kind of depressing. That is the partial reason as to why I am not going into anything now because it is just too much for me.

Alot of things happened today but I decided not to blog about it because it is really demoralising... However I still think mats should be banned from bikes, I nearly got ran over on my way home. I was walking on the side of the road[YES I KNOW I AM AT WRONG FOR WALKING ON THE ROAD], it was at the SIDE like most side. like you know, THE CEMENTED GROUND WITH DRAINAGE GRILLS?? Fucking motorbike nearly ran into me if I have not stopped in my tracks and him missing me by centimetres... ON A ROAD THAT CAN FIT TWO CARS. I suspect he was drunk... either that, or he should get into a motorbike crash.

Other then that, I had a good dinner company today. It cheered me up abit despite what happened for the whole day.

Shoes scraped the back of my heels till they tear and bleed and hurt like shit during bathing but for it was good for a pair of closed heels, because it did not hurt though I wore it out for 5 hours? Usually closed toes heels hurt like shit for me after two hours and the scrapes were NOT the results of 5 hours... I got it after the first 10 minutes of wearing it...rofl.

One huge problem is my nails.
My nails are ugly, I have no money for acrylic or gel extensions. The fake tips I have orders were not what I wanted when they arrived and I decided not to wear the 5-6CM tip because it is really inconvenient, esp when it is not firmly attached to your fingers like your real nails.

I wonder when I will ever get nails like this...

I've know petz ever since I was in poly year two? thats like around 3-4 years as long as I know twinneh jus that I am closer to twinneh.
Petz changed from a makeup-less to a scary makeup to a uberchio makeup princess over the years. She has always been very cheerful despite everything even though she emos alot online sometimes 8D esp twitter.
I had good times with this girl, and of course great bitching sessions. She might not be the closest friend I have, she might not be agreeable with the way i do things, but I know that she is great to hang out with and chat with.

When i was in my 18-19 I have this VERY BAD HABIT of raising my eyebrows...both of them, which has gradually cause forehead wrinkle to form when I raise teh brows over the years...
Which means you cant see them wrinkles unless i raise my brows, but back in 18-19 you cant see them no matter i raise them or not.

This has definitely improved that condition, so it means Retinol Vitamin A is working....[YES I RAISED MY BROWS ONCE AGAIN JUS TO TEST AND RISK THE DEEPING THEM WRINKLES, TOUCHED ANOT PPL?]

Secondly was that ugly mouth lines i rages about... The condition of it has also improved and it isnt as deep as it used to be. So that means skin is lifted? (y) collagen rocks my face. hur~~~

Third, this product is really money saving awesome. 2-4 DROPS that is all you need for your whole face... any more than that and you can use it for your neck too.

lastly all for an awesome price of $25.90... it can probably last you from 1/2 a year to 1 year minumum... so it is like mayb a 0.something cents a day? Why not really...

YAY~~~~ BODYLINE HAUL IS HEREEEEEE

I would describe how awesome all the haul is for a grand total of only 37USD but blogger ate my words and I am just to worn out to type again.
I can only say that the black bag and the golden heels are a STEAL.
Heels are only 7USD while the bag is 14USD.
The red tote was jus a temptation because it be so naise and the straps are buckled.

The belt was an essential because i only have a poor collection of belts....one from cosplay[FREAKING BRIGHT COLBAT BLUEEEEEEE], one donated to me by a kind soul and another one from my dad just only because my mom insisted that it is not hers n my dad is too fat for it.

Got two hair accessories at 1USD each but I was stupid enough not to take photos because they were stuck at the back of my head and left forgotten ever since the start of me tearing apart the packaging of everythingelse.

All of you probably know the line by LIPICE better. It has been #1 selling lipbalm in Japan and widely used during MY SECONDARY YEARS. They have FINALLY launched their Mojitate Kajitsu line in Singapore a few months back. It was introduced in Japan back in 2003 [FOL okay? Why take so long to reach here dammit.] and it has then been well-received by teens and young adults for its flavour and packaging. Japan always has the best packaging for products which lures you to buy them...Singapore products? Our designers probably got shot in the hand by some nutcase.

Anyway, this yummy stick is filled with Mango+Orange with Honey goodness~~~ Mojitate Kajitsu says it all, it means Fresh Fruits in Japanese.
It comes in different flavours of Strawberry, Grape&Berry, Orange&Mango, White Peach and Lemon&Lime.

To be honest, I was slightly sad when it came to my doorsteps. I was hoping for either a Grape&Berry or White Peach... but neither happened *inserts hope-deflated face* I do have to say the Orange&Mango was omnomnomlicious too! I couldnt stop smelling it. It was really yummy smelling and if it werent for sanity, i would start tasting it and hoping there is flavour on it too ~.~lll It was almost like the situation with my heavyrotation chupachup lipgloss.

Mojitate Kajitsu is made with Fresh Fruit Juice[how the hell do they do that man?] which contains essential vitamins and minerals.

Like i say... it was omnomnom-licious, the scent was so freaking yummy that i could eat the lipbalm...if it were edible LOL.

i'd never a proper nuffnang memory really. What i had being a nuffie was just two events. The nokia oki workshop where i met fellow lao jiao coser @ Kaika [from The Cosplay Chronicles], and a movie preview where i dragged twinneh Lawliet [from Living for sake of it].

I am actually sensitive to the cleanser from this brand so it might be one of the ingredients because I got different reaction from the products.

So introducing their new range of product~ The DermoPURIFYER Range [skincare]

DermoPurifyer range is developed to combat acne prone skin as acne vulgaris,or what we common people know as PIMPLES and BLACKHEADS, is exceedingly common in all people, not only adolescents/ah bengs[i swear, guys at the age of 15, HOO~ their skin is so damn screwed thanks to their lack of basic skincare, i've seen enough to know.. and YES PARTICULARLY BENGS, probably their smoking contributed to all the skin cloggin. No offense bengs, I think you guys are cooler than lians and we are all chinese *inserts troll face*].

There are 4 main active ingredients in this line, namely Lactic Acid, Carnitine, Decandiol and Licochalcone A

Latic Acid : Mainly for water binding[moisture retain] and skin pH regulating

Carnitine : Sebum regulating and Carnitine accelerates the metabolism of fatty acids and reduces their availability for sebum formation , this will take up to three weeks for full effects

Decandiol : Anti-bacterial to work against bacteria from entering skin that has been opened and prone to acne

Licochalcone A : Anti-inflammatory and soothes redness of skin.

First up is the DermaPurifyer Active Concentrate

It serves to clarify the skin and improve skin condition and oil+preservatives FREE
It is useable as a makeup base for everyday use.

my review~

Due to the PARFUM at the end of the list, there is a heavy scent. Honestly, it is not the kind of scent I would detest but not the one I would like either. Just smells like a heavily perfumed atas lady... dont know what kind of parfum they use *rolls eyes* if it was something like gucci, ysl or dkny or issey or blvgari, you get my drift *hint hint hint*, I would probably like it.

This is the most liquified solution out of the three products but the application is rather lightwieght and your skin absorbs it in a matter of a min or two.

I couldnt give this a high score as I dont know what reactions I have to this serum yet because I honestly did not use it until yesterday and it takes three days for my skin to show reaction. Other than that, I love how easily it could be absorbed into the skin because I really hate to feel something on my skin other than cleaniness.

The second product is DermoPurifyer Active Night Care

It serves to improve skin condition, reduces blemish in 3 weeks and is oil FREE [Who would want to put oil on their face right?]

Unlike Active Concentrate, this cream has a nicer PARFUM or maybe its me or maybe it is the reaction of the ingredients.
This product is my top favourite out of the three. I dont have a skin reaction problem to this product and it is actually doing something to my blemishes!!

The cream-like texture makes is harder to absorb quickly compared to Active Concentrate but after massaging it into your face for a while, the skin is left dry and not oily/wet like when you put on moisturizer. I've actually grown to love this because night application products are also easier for me, because I tend to forget about applying morning products OFTENLY, up to the point where they are useless to have in the house.

my verdict?

now if only the replace it with YSL PARFUM *inserts hmmmm face*

Last but...actually it is the least probably.

DermoPurifyer Hydrating care for Oily,Blemish prone skin.

True to their claim, it is fragrant free because it is NOT FRAGANT. There is this medicinal smell that I actually dislike but its mild... I am just anal about it.

This is probably the product that I will give no points to... It caused me to break out. I've actually chucked the cleanser away since I couldnt use it so I could not do a ingredient comparison to save myself, but whatever ingredients in here matches the cleanser from this line AND the cleansers from clean and clear will probably be the best bet to the ingredient I am sensitive in. I have zero problems with Japan cleansers [Biore, mandom, rosette etc].

The gel is even worse for me, because it cakes up when it is dry so you can actually rub it off. Purpose defeated and my face actually feels oily after two-three hours... is this why it is designed for oily faces? So they cant feel the difference?

All in all, this product was the worst of the three for me..FOR ME. Others might have better luck *shrugs*

Agony of an OCD-proned....

Okay, ignore the title.. I really couldn't think of anything else.
Well... washing yours hands up to 40 times a day might be a mild OCD case anyway *nods*

ANYWAY~~~

Have you ever been in a condition where your makeup takes too much to remove?
Your answer doesn't really matter to me, but I DO!!!
OH GOOD LORD, while in my quest of obtaining SUPER MAKE PRODUCTS[waterproof!long lasting!BLAHBLAHBLAH!], I've pretty much did a major self-ownage when it comes to removal.

Top two products that kills me during removal is my Lancome mascara and my K-Palette liner.

I have like TONS of makeup removal products that I use excessively, reason being I always want my face thoroughly cleansed before I sleep. I will be super unease if i feel even a speck of dirt on my face before I sleep [I am over exaggerating but you get my point]. Here is where my disorder sets in... I'll remove my makeup with normal removal solution/oil, use a removal wipe, use a removal cleanser AND double check with a wipe again... you have no idea how much moisture is lost in that process but having my face clean matters more to me than anything else.

So~ I was invited to try out the new New HadaLabo Hydrating Cleansing Oil~~

They have the lock that I like in all pump products *snickers* cos i bring them out sometimes...and I would really NOT LIKE to accidentally squirt liquid all over my bags.

The two key ingredients is their High Purity Olive Oil[for high performance cleansing] and Super Hyaluronic Acid[to retain moisture giving you refreshing smoothness after cleansing, so they say.]
The product claim to be water-soluble, and doesn't leave any residue after cleansing.

Is it true?

So here is a picture of my make... As most would know, my eyemake is heavily concentrated.

Here is the list for that day:
Kate eyebrow mascara
Nyx eyebrow pencil
Pop contouring powder
Maybelline gel liner
Lancome mascara
MAC pearl powder
Makeup Shop orange line

you get the drift. I m just slightly regretful that I couldnt find my K-Palette Liner. That thing is prolly the hardest makeup product that I have to remove...even Lawliet twinneh agrees. Both of us has gone WTFFFFFFFFFF at it before. It stains skins *insert true story bro picture*

In contrast with the yellowish solution in the bottle, it is actually almost colorless when being pumped out~

ZERO SCENT. ok, not totally zero but compared to my other cleanser, this is almost a NIL. *check*

The correct way of using this cleanser is to apply an appropriate amount and massage/rub it all over your face to remove the makeup, but I wanted to show how much of a ONE-TIME cleanser it was so I used a cotton wipe and did hold and swipe.

With 3seconds of hold, this much was removed...ALMOST CLEARED.

The only thing that stayed on was the mascara, which was also removed promptly after gentle rubbing a wet cloth over it. *strong removal checked*

The only part which did little to convince me was the water-solubility of the product. After cleansing, I rinsed my face with just plain water and dried it. However my skin still felt the slight oil, or maybe my OCD set in but in picture, there are actually droplets. Those are formed by oil when mixed with water. It is way smaller and lesser compared to my Biore Oil cleanser, but I guess I am anal like that. *solubility not checked*

I am still loving this cleanser though, I really feel super skin-refreshed after usage despite that small hiccup~Just use a wipe to clean it off and it is fine.

Giving it a 4.5/5 !! *applauses*

Hada Labo also has another product for light make removal [for those who dont put on a hell lot like me.] and it is a water-based product, YAY FOR SKIN MOISTURE. It contains two types of Hyaluronic Acid [both normal and super], intense moisture locking for the win!

For those who are interested/as obsessed as me for keeping your skin clean after long hours of having makeup piled on your skin.

Crazy Weekend with Kawaii.I

GOOD BYE BUSY WEEKEND~~~ *waveswaves*

so~~~ last week was pretty hectic as I had a last min baito + filming sessions~~

so i'll tell the story along as I show you some picture~~

MY NYANPIRE BROKE BOOHOO~~ it was major bad omen, because something happened after that but it was cleared up quickly so it was all good but nyanpire is still broken and I had yet to fix it up~

My hairspray finally got into Singapore. This is VO5 superkeep in scentless. Got this with Ren they all because Ren told me that it was a brand that most jrockers use and its holding power is awesome, so I got it ._. /noob hahaha~~~ Freaking 330g worth of hairspray but hell..the total weight for it was 450g. Jus for the record, I wont be bringing it in anymore even if it is good due to shipping fees and other lawful reasons[well mainly law but if i find some way around it, i will consider again].

Cause my workplace was situated at Douby Ghaut, they were having a LoveAffair event there, showcasing wedding planners and dress designers. I got a couple pictures before they told me no picture taking. THERE WERE NO SIGNS..and...wedding dresses are pretty *inserts being-bullied face here*
Nevertheless~~~ These are the kind of dresses I want for my wedding. SO TAKE NOTE OF IT, MY FUTURE HUSBAND!!! [if he ever reads back on this post about 7years from now. rofl./unlikely]

so on thursday night I was transforming a wig as usual because the old style is really too ugly.... so...

We had lots of fun during the filming. The start of the filming was delayed though because Ariel came late...
We were filmed at cashstudio!!! Prolly got one of the biggest room, and it was really impressive.
We were also give the pretty limited domo-kun from kawaii TV. It is really adorable. I'll blog about it next time.

However we did not have time for alot of singing, and were ushered out and had to rush towards cineleisure.
We took neoprint, and were filmed shopping at Beadstreet.com [the nailpolishes which i reviewed from] and finally ended outside of cineleisure at around 5pm odd.

After the filming session, i went on to change my hairstyle into a smaller and more comfortable version cos i had to attend ayaya's bdae parteh~~~/0/

Spent $42 on the buffet dinner *slaps forehead* my budget is over-killed in one night, but it was aya's bdae so oh well. Lawliet shared some black cute cat in tiger outfit with me for her bdae pressie.

So last thursday... I was invited to the Diamond TV Party by Stacy.
I randomly just inquired about it and within minutes, I was rang up and slotted into the priority guest list. /shocked It happened so fast that I couldnt comprehend for a moment there. Of course, I did not party alone, I brought twinneh and a new friend Eliina. We missed the lingerie show sadly cos of management miscommunication, I was kind of upset and felt sorry towards Eliina cos the show was the main point she came along for.

Met alot of new people there and I daresay I had fun. I still dont like clubbing but it was the best experience of all so far.
I was introduced to tons of people and I was also approached by tons. I've lost count how many people grabbing my arm and kissing my hand. Seriously, everyone was really hyped up and all, so I dont blame them.

Challenge : Sakurina Style

So~~~ awhile back I was actually challenged to reproduce a Sakurina style.

Honestly speaking, even though I simply adore Sakurina's style and sort, i've never thought of pulling off anything in her style or whatsoever because its daunting.
She has this ability of looking VERY ABSOLUTELY GLAMOROUS even if she is just wearing a normal cardigan and some denim shorts.

My first thought was to do rokku gyaru. Typical, i know but that is what Sakurina was known for.
Which was decidedly why I was against that thought too, because i simply do not have much rokku clothes.

It was by pure chance of luck that I was able to snag this piece of off-brand maxi that matches the Stella piece that Sakurina modeled in Ageha before. The tie-dyed gives abit of edge on the lady piece, which was rather her, like how she mixes super frilly cute tops with chains,metal and those. An edge to a girly side.

Makeup.
Her heavy eyemake is well-known and really differs from my usual eyemake[mine is much lighter] but i decidedly did my best in it and chose similar pointy lower lashes like she always uses.

Her lips are always in a gorgeous strong colour, pushing forward the pop in her eyes. Well, it so happens that her eyes and lips are always a heavy focus. I chose a red lippy for this time, but i swear I am not going to have another red lip experience. The whole feeling was marvelous and sexy for me, but in some frames, I disliked the similarity i bare to someone i know. All in all, I am never going near bright red lipstick ever again, I still love wine red and deep maroon though~

Hair.
Hair wise I had a hard time. The usual Rina doesnt really style up her hair much unless she is attending an important event or shoot, so using that lousy reason, I gave myself a loose tousled look. My hair isnt thick due to the several layers that I have to accommodate to my visual style, so it came out below expectation but trust me, I felt awesome going out that way.

For those who wanna know where i usually get my haircuts from. I am actually quite proud to say that, its my friend, Lucify Gazette [click for her blog]. Like me, she started off with visual and she is moving in Gal, and i daresay she is very suitable for it and she looks darn adorable.

Accessories.
I wouldnt say I am an avid fan of collecting accessories but I am quite proud of whatever I have. I tried to deck on as much as I can to bring out the rokku edge, but it seemed to wallow out in the photos. I love the layered necklace that Locke brought back from Thailand though, it was really lovely.

Shoes
YAY~ shoes~ for this look, i wore black gladiator wedges. It would have been perfect if the wedge base was in black but I had to make do with it. I've seen her worn wedges/peeptoes in so many occassions that I've lost count even though she is actively modelling for super high heels and such, so I thought that it was a good choice to choose a pair of wedges to match the maxi.

My only regret would truly be the lack of awesomely pretty nails. Some day, i do hope i can have nails like hers.

I have not been blogging properly at all, and I couldnt even put up a filler post during the 10 days of absence. I sincerely apologise to all readers for it.

I could prolly come up with a hell lot of excuses, but it would all boil down to procrastination.

I am 21. As much as I do not want to, I have to start acting my age which is ridiculously painful because of my own issues. Saying that i will try just doesnt seem to cut it for me anymore, i have to do it. Harden up, Strenghten up, and face this world alone.
I know I have great friends and all, but afterall in some situations especially in the matters of mind, you will be left all alone and only you can comfort yourself.

Anyway, let me explain my absence for abit.
As some might know, recently, i've turned 21 during last month. The celebration was almost a week long and straight after my celebrations, I had to work for an event, Comex, under LG.
Theorically, i would be free after the weekend work but no. I have to fall sick and at the same time rush against time to complete the GLF preorder catalog. I am still very sick by the way... \

Imagine this.

Me, sittin at my bed with shorts n oversized tee, in specs, no make, messy hair clipped n pin in a random manner and armed with tissue while coughin every 5 min and working hard on the damn catalogue. I have no choice really since no one can help me anymore *shakes head* tmr is the release, i m nearly done with the clothes only and there are still shoes.... JIPUN(Japan in dialect)!!! Y U GOT SO MUCH CHIO STUFF??!!

That aside, initially I was planning for my next post to be of my birthday celeb but NAY, no can do cos i have no time to sort out the pictures so i've decided to do a filler post with mah phone.

On my recent holy spendings *coughs* eventhoughihavenojobandmysavingsaredepletinglikecrazy *coughs*
WHAT! (๑≖ˇдˇ≖๑) they are awesome spendings!!

So on wed, i went for an interview which went well but nt so well at the same time. They sounded willing to hire but i was reluctant to join n become one of the people i dislike the most. I asked to be a coordinator not a talent scout... If it was still a month, i can accept it but 3? No thanks... I rather do sales n coldcalling.

After that, i went to LiangCourt with like some out-of-this-world enthusiam to get my ageha mag. However horror awaits me.... I was presented with the newest Ane Ageha vol.4 too .... *silence with crickets background*
HOW?? HOW THE HELL... is there NO, ABSOLUTE ZERO reviews on whether Ane Ageha is worth the buy compared to Ageha?
the thickness is the same and so is the price... I was spun into absolute dilema of at least 15mins. I bet i've looked stupid clutching that two mags, walking around Kinokuniya and mumbling to myself with curses.

In the end... I splurged 30bucks for two mags thanks to Kent-chan's last min rescue with a 20%disc card... So here they are~

Ageha in the fore and AneAgeha at the back

Obviously, AneAgeha would mean its a sister publish. Its targetted at above Age25 Agejyos. However, most of the featured are for around 28-30. This mag is packed full of make n hair tutorials for hair n tutorial lovers of Ageha. They have your usual slimming adverts n fashion coordinates pages, and they also talk about how 25 above Agejyos maintain their looks, and of course there are stuff about lip fillers n whatnots being mentioned.

Here is my verdict. Unless u are really interested in the lifestyle of agejyos above 25, i would honestly say that this is nt really worth the buy. I would honestly just stick to Ageha. There is tons of make n hair tutorial in this release but prolly only because this release is dedicated to it cause i sew that other editions are different. The other editions are collabs with NUTS and I♡MAMA. In deduction, its prolly about older agejyos and age-mama life.

I know for sure though that I wont get it again until i turn into my dream mommy of two boys~~ hehe

My second review for today is another awesome buy hur~~~

My bath salt~~!!(❀ฺ´∀`❀ฺ)ﾉ

I have been eyeing this salt for quite awhile now but was it due to the high pricing that i did not buy it or not i simply cannot remember.
I was just randomly shopping with Jin @ BHG @ the clementi mall that i have yet to explore and i daresay, that bhg brings in the best items that u can think of. I have my sights set on the collagen facial mist/lotion/mask cos that stuff WORKS.

So anyway, me n Jin went sniffing at all the bath salt and this was the one with the nicest smell~~ the others were pretty meh imo. I mean me and Jin have very diversed likings but if we can agreee that only this one was good, it means a hell lot. So both of us got a bottle each, and it happened to be the last three bottles~~~ it weighs 400g, super huge tube and all for only 10 something bucks, after BHG discount, it was only $8.60. For such a HUGE tube of seasalt, the price was amazing.

Seasalt exfoliates and detoxifies skin. This tube is useable on both body AND face ~~~
The brand is AquaRine. There are other scents like rose, greentea, chilli, milk.

So according to whatever that is written on the back, it helps to remove dead skin cells, blackheads through exfoliation and improves skin conditions like dark spots and open pores.
It is also used for breakdown of fat cells *YAY* and renewal of skin *duh exfoliation*

All the ingredients are fully au naturale.
Includes: seasalt, peach leaf, jojoba, seaweed, natural active of oak, loquat leaf, pine needles, honey

You can go research on the properties for the ingredients because i m jus gonna rave about how awesome it is.

They stated to use a generous amount but i simply couldnt even though it is such a huge tube... So i squeezed out about 1/4 of my palm and it was acutally enough for my body so i proceeded to a wittle scrubbing session *lots of hearts*
The peachy scent was totally intoxicating and i feel so happy throughout~~ it was actually slightly warmish after awhile due to the friction caused by scrubbing probably? But thats okay~~~ cos it is rather gentle on skin. After washing off the salt, my body actualky felt much smooth, i was so happy that went on to try it out on my face.

Squeezed out about 0.5cm and start wiggling it over my face. It was warm without even the need to rub your face for more than three times. Its like your fats are melting away. After washing it away, i was prativally dancing for joy in the bathroom. My face felt ridiculously smooth compared to before i washed. It was even better den my usual exfoliation with Cure.

I cant say how satisfied I am with this amiunt spent for so much joy and scent in the bathroom. I am going to look forward to exfoliating from now on~~~

Overseas babes should totally try this cos of the winter weather that is coming up. You wont want dull skin even if you do put on makeup~~~ skin changes every 3 days if i m nt wrong, someone can correct me on this.
The one I am using is AquaRine peach, japanese aroma bath seasalt IN coarse salt. I figured there might be fine salt versions for lighter exfoliation but hey~! i am a rough girl, so i need more heavy duty care i suppose *rolls eyes*

2010 - I did not blog about matsuri. I went, I was too sick, I was mentally unstabled *nods*

I really appreciate every year's matsuri because of the effort being put in and all but this year was BIG disappointment.

1. almost 70% of the stores are manned by Singaporeans. food -10, drinks -10, things to buy -10.
2. Influx of Ah Tiongs -10000000

Honestly there are certain ppl i deem as ah tiongs, not all prcs. Those loud, rude and auntie ones, immd. prcs damnation. I have chio prc friends okay.

So yea... it was a real killer.
The line for the games were long like WOOHOO this year, spent a good amount of time just QUEUEING for the games #diumahlife but it was fun nevertheless.

I did an ultimate stupid thing at the yoyo booth. I hooked up one balloon, the hook did not break but...diu. While I was waiting for another prey{balloon} to come along, *cues music* my grip loosen, one of the sides of the paper slide open and the hook slipped into the water. *ZENG ZENG ZENG* i went 0A0!WHATISTHISIDONTEVEN- oh.sua. at least i had one. I wanted to get another one for my mom like i do every year.

At the end of the whole fest while we are queuing up for the shuttle bus to go home, one of the ojisan from the yoyo stall came to the line with a huge bag of yoyo to give us all for FREE. *squeals* I was so happy, because i could give one to my mom!!

my free bebe poshe duo eyeshadow[Starry eyeshadow SE-01] arrived right at the very morning, so i tried it out.
The pigments were quite obvious but the powder was rather flaky on the palette, something that I did not like very much. *prefers the palette to look clean* LOL. *gets kicked*

Used the shimmery gold to apply all over the lid and inner corner, the dark brown shade at the outer corners and lower line

This year the balloons werent clipped tight enough. It died on sunday night. not even two days. HAHAHA

on a side note i really find it annoying as to how people diss taobao so much.
okok. I will be honest, i find it annoying how this ONE PERSON diss taobao so much calling it shady and all.
1. There are fakes on taobao.
this i do not deny, you just have to be a smart shopper.
2. Taobao is a very shady place to shop.
SO ARE OTHER PLACES. Please do not use your one time experience or even ZERO experience to judge people from there, i happen to have very honest friends making a living there.

I love Japan, I hate some of the people there, but I really like the culture and people there.

Michelle Nail Colour review

Some should prolly know by now that I m abit crazy over OPI's PiratesOfTheCarribean: At Stranger Tides collection by now. Today, i've found the very dupe for one of the colours while i was looking for black nail polish.

The brand is call Michelle Nail Colour, which is a product by beadstreet. They have a booth jus outside of cineleisure and their nailpolishes are wayyyyyyy affordable. It costs SGD2.80 per bottle and SGD4 for two, HUGE SAVE THERE.
So i got two bottles~~~

One was a dupe for OPI's mermaid tears and the other one is just plain black.

The application was easy and smooth. The brush is evidently not of super quality but it works pretty well for me. Took me about 3 coats to get a solid opaque colour so it was generally fine for me and it has slightly quick dry properties which is a plus for me. Some of you might feel that mermaid's tears is in a lighter shade, well there WAS a lighter shade. I am going to get it the next time round and swatch it with this colour. This colour jus seemed much more right for me than the other shade since this one gave me a more mermaid-ish feel i guess..

This was the normal black shade. It took me only two coats to get a solid opaque colour. As expected of a dark colour polish, i guess?
Nothing too special about this.

So overall, i think i will head back and see if there is a StrangerTides dupe(because i couldnt remember the colour offhand jus now) and get the lighter dupe of Mermaid'sTears. I foresee myself havin great fun with these.

House of Night

I dont even know if i have gotten the right girl or not *laughs*
these few days, i have gone back to my geekself. Reading fiction and going to the library.. All thanks to one digital book that i have downloaded on my mobile to read.

I would say that i m rather intrigued by vampires, demons, mythology, gods, folklore and whatnots. No, i am not one of those twilight fans. Infact, i never knew what twilight was about really and i would prolly never because it defiles my image of what those myth blood feasting beauties should be like. The only thing that i've enjoyed about twilight was prolly the spoof movie, Vampires Suck. It was quite a good movie.. Well, and admittedly watching a comedy at 10am with 5? other friends was not totally sane. Made us even crazier than usual but all is good.

Anyway, back to the book. The book i found was the House of Night series by P.C.cast. I might have to go into town to actually find the full series to loan out or spend abit of money on reservation of the books because there is simply no full sets available for loan at where i live. It is a pity really. Other than the vamp series, Cast has also written many other books. Mostly dealing with greek mythology. The other book that I have read is called Warrior Rising. A re-written greek mythology of Achilles, son of Thetis and leader of the Myrmidons army. It is a second view of how his warrior life went and how he did not just died because a stupid arrow struck his heel. It sounded like a more logical version of the original, in my opinion. Overall, both books have kept me reading and interested. If anyone likes the categories as much as I do, it is probably an awesome read.

Nowadays i have been rather confused and insecure. Both mentally and physically. I used to be so sure of myself and in everything i do but now i have doubts with every step i make. Today, my body failed me. As i stumbled my way back home from work, vision blurred out so bad that i had to resist the urge to make a breakand run home but my body couldnt handle a run at that time so i'll prolly fall. Upon reaching home, i felt slightly better and made myself lunch before proceeding to knock for 6hours. Retching problem came back since a week ago, i had that problem durin my last three months with shin and continued for a good two months after that before it went away. I thought i was fine but i am wrong prolly.
Insecurities in mind. I rather not share since my thoughts are not exactly the nicest. It is prolly about alot of things but i wish it would just go away.

Bloggin at 3am is something that i havent done in a very very long time. I guess i jus did not have the strenght to even stay up anymore if not for my sleep in the afternoon just now. I am still feeling rather worn and i will prolly knock out the moment i close my eyes again. I have to wake up in 5 hours time for a shoot. Honestly, i m really too tired to the point where i dont feel like going. Prolly head home early tmr, and sleep early. That way, i wouldnt have to answer to anything or anyone.

On the lighter side of life, I am really happy that people are supporting [Project Mori]. I have recieved quite abit of applications and I am totally pleased. I do hope to see more applications though even if it makes my choices difficult.
Even though the goddess of wealth has yet to look at me, but i am sure that she will set aside abit of luck for me to be able to pick more gals. Havin only 3 is too little for such a huge community all over the world *laughs*

These few days has been pretty bland at work cause there is nothing much to do since our incharge and her sister has quitted the company, its a family business btw.
The only irritating thing is that the hags are coming out of where they usually are and it is super annoyig to actually see them lolol. They pissed off almost everybody in the company hahahah

Sooooo twinneh came back frm phuket on tues night n she got a couple of stuff for me..

Super awesome tshirt n i m going to wear it to work hahaha silent protest ftw.
Next was a necklace with some sankrit/thai inscription. Twinneh say its for good luck soooo okie dokie. I also has a ring with such inscription from locke when he came back frm thai.
That girl also bought a super long hi-chew bac wtf lol. 12 pieces inside of one pack.
Finally it was some indian lookin scarf thingy that i have no idea what to do w cept to look indian. No offence to indians really, i like the material and all but it looks super lol on me.

Yesterday watsons had a private member sales once again and i went down to the nearest one with twinneh n alex after work. We got quite abit of stuff and but only spent 92 in total. Twinneh spent 48, i covered the rest.

Got my rexona spray cos my one had officially ran out, thank god for sales... I cant really stand other rexona scent other den passion, which was the one i bought.
Got hairdye again. This time i m sticking to gatsby though i was greatly tempted by the palty foam series. Hope it turns out well this time, well, actually it always does. As long as it is gatsby.....(♯｀∧´)
Twinneh came across hellokitty facial wash which greatly attracted our attention n was the last two bottles on the shelf. This wash is actually medicated and made to heal acne problems PLUS it removes makeup residues... So we shall see how it goes.

Finally~~~ my fav brand for hair repair currently, Essential. This brand prolly saved my excessively dyed hair... Considerin how i do it every two months and all the styling and heating every week. I m surprised that my hair doesnt break off easily. So~~~ my hair serum had actually ran out, and i was planning to purchase it at the sales for 9plus but i came across this set.

It includes a fullsize serum bottle and a small retail size of both shampoo and conditioner. Super great fan of the repair series compared to the silky series. The package also includes an extra booklet which contains ambassadors' information and simple hairstyles tips that you can follow.
Usually i wouldnt be willing to spend so much on hair care but the serum is seriously awesome. I wake up with frizzy hair every day, usually at the ends. In the morning, i jus have to apply abit of the serum on the last 15cm and my hair would seriously look like i have spent time to straighten it. It is just so neat and smooth \(//∇//)\ so yeap. Products for lazy working people like meeeeeeee~~~
